A general term used to describe the condition of long-term exposure to the Heavenfield.

Even if a subject is fully-protected from the Field's atmosphere, the process of transition coupled with the psychological exposure to such an extreme and alien reality, many will eventually succumb to a variety of psychological and physical complaints [see Field-Transition - Transition Trauma].
