Location Description

A safe house in a town nearby the Maunsworth Research Facility where Alexi was rescued from Carl Gutteridge and his men. Alexi was able to use Dragor Millovich's communications equipment to make contact with other Exiles, who then sent a team from the Field to pick him up.

The fact that Alexi was able to travel into the Field by the proximity effect and not degrade back into the everyday world is an indication as to the extent of his Field Exposure. At this stage it seemed he was already being 'taken by the Field', as the Exiles would say [see Field-Transition - Transition Trauma].

Alexi was able to extract the code for Dragor's communications hidden within a bible (as was often common practice for the ever-more fanatically-religious Exile group). This particular code was hidden within Ezekial:

“And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire...”
